Newtonville - Tuesday noon, general manager Fitch arrived here in his private car, accompanied by H. J. Payne, civil engineer, and Peter W. Neu, of the firm of Furst Neu & Co. The object of their visit was to locate a branch from here to the Michigan Redstone quarry. It is their intention to complete the road at as early a date as possible. This branch will enable the Redstone Co., to ship stone either by rail or by water as most convenient or desirable.
