At Trout Creek
A. L. Wing & Co., Ltd., of Wingleton, Lake county, lower Michigan has come to an agreement with the DSS&A Ry., and as a consequence a thriving village will be built up at Trout Creek on the Duluth division. The company has been reorganized as the Trout Creek Lbr. Co., and will put in a pine plant at Trout Creek a few hundred feet from a store of that name. It will deal almost exclusively with the eastern market, shipping its lumber through by rail all ready dressed.
Work has been recommenced on the mill site and will be pushed actively. Seventeen men and five cars of lumber were sent up this week for the construction of camps and as soon as the camps are ready a big force of lumber men will be set to work getting out pine for the new mill. Three or four carloads of supplies are now on the way from Saginaw.
