On Board the Cars
Whereas, the representatives of the Democracy of the Upper Peninsula are under obligation to General Manager Fitch and Passenger Agent Wilbur of the DSS&A for the many courtesies extended to them on their trip to and from Lansing on the occasion of the Democratic Inaugural Ceremonies, held on Wednesday and Thursday of this week, and
Whereas, we are not accustomed to such kind and generous treatment at the hands of other railroads, therefore be it,
Resolved, that the representatives of the Democracy of the Upper Peninsula will ever remember with kindly feelings and hospitality and courtesy extended to them throughout the entire trip.
