Negaunee - As the 3:30 passenger on the DSS&A was pulling into the city yesterday afterafternoon[sic], the engine left the rails near the switch just below the bridge and ran off on a side track. The train was stopped as quickly as possible but not before the mail car has been derailed. Bridges were qiickly[sic] adjusted under the car wheels and the derailed car was pulled onto the rails again without loss of time. The iron couplers of the derailed car had been broken by the accident and it had to be transferred to the rear end of the train.
