Transcript	Source: The Lake Superior Democrat<br>Ishpeming, Mi.<br>February 14, 1891 <br>Saturday<br><br>A report reached this city early in the week, that General Manager Fitch resigned his position with the DSS&; A. The report came by telegraph from Milwaukee. The Democrat asked Mr. Fitch immediately upon his return from Montreal whether the report was true and was glad to receive his answer, "; No."; Mr. Fitch'; s resignation would be a serious blow to the railroad interests of this city.<br>
