S. A. Harrison, senior member of the firm of Harrison & Green, contractors, who have taken the contract to build the DSS&A from Dogwood, Wi., to the east branch of the Ontonagon, says that the work is being relet to the subcontractors. The terms of the contract call for its completion by September 1. Dogwood is the station on the MLS&W, 28 miles this side of Ashland, where the DSS&A and the MLS&W have a junction. The new road after rounding Lake Gogebic turns south to a point three miles from Wakefield and then runs parallel with that road to Dogwood, where it crosses. Harrison & Green have contracts for building almost 150 miles of the new road to Northern Mi., and Northern Wi.
