Accident Report - September 2, l887.
An accident occurred upon the Duluth South Shore and Atlantic
Railway near Seney station on the 2nd day of September 1887 at
800 o'clock A.M. caused by:
Brakeman C.D. Formby falling off train of ore cars while in motion, a short distance west of Seney station. No one saw him fall, he was found by trackmen. Head injured and one leg run over; brought him to the hospital at Marquette, where he died the next day at 130 P.M. Remains sent to his relatives at Hamilton, Ont.
Casualties resulting from the above accident - 1 employe [* employee] killed.
