There has been a row on the DSS&A in which O'Reilly & Co., contractors, who have done the grading, and one firm, to which they sublet some of the work, were the agressors. It seems that O'Reilly Co., claim that owing to an improper classification of the job they have lost money and have accordingly pitched into Brown, Howard & Co., who let them the contract, to recover damages. The matter which promised to seriously delay the iron laying gangs, has been smoothed over, however, and business is going on as before. It looks like a poor time for O'Reilly & Co., to kick. People engaged in railroad building usually make a point of knowing what so big an undertaking is like before they tackle it.
