. . . The council then took a recess for ten minutes to enable the finance committee to make a report on the bill of S.P. Kline & Co., amounting to $354.68.
The finance committee to which was referred the said bill of S.P. Kline & Co., amounting to $354.68, reported verbally recommending the allowance of the claim less $2.37 it being for 1,020 lbs., of coal found short with the bill of Messers. Kline & Co., and the statement given to Alderman O'Leary by the DSS&A. Report adopted and the recorder authorized to draw an order for $352.31.
