A New Arrangement
The DSS&A will on June 3 inaugurate a double daily train service between Houghton and Mackinaw City, and in connection with the MC, run Wagner sleeping cars between Houghton and Detroit without change. The convenience of this arrangement is apparent. It will enable the public to travel between Houghton, Ishpeming, Negaunee, Marquette and intermediate points and Buffalo, New York, Boston and eastern points with but one change of cars. Close connections will be made with fast trains at all junction points in union depots, which will obviate tedious delays and disagreeable transfers. The sleeping cars to be used were built by the Wagner Car Co., expressly for this service, are new, elegant in design and have all modern improvements.
