M&N Extension to Ontonagon
McIntosh Bros., have taken a contract from the M&N Ry., to build a 36 mile railroad, from the present terminus of the O&B Ry., in Ontonagon to a junction with the DSS&A. The work has been long contemplated and negotiations have been going on for the right of way for some months. Work will begin in February and the people of Ontonagon county are now assurred of a rail outlet. The bridge work will probably be done by A. F. Mac Gillis, lately of this city, but now a resident of Menomineee. -Norway Current
