Killed at St. Ignace
Monday morning Toussaint Sharkey was run over by the cars at St. Ignace and killed. "August", as he was called by railroad men, was a brakeman on the freight train, and when he made his run down from Marquette Saturday his wife accompanied him and spent Sunday at the Point. She was returning on the train which killed her husband. It is not know whether his foot slipped or whether he had a fit and thus fuell under the wheels, as he was subject to fits. He was killed instantly.
Sharkey was about 40 years of age and resided on Rock street in this city; ...
