A St. Louis Reseal
A recent issue of the Sault Ste. Marie News contains the information that J.Q. Murphy, formerly a news agent on the D. S. S. & A. road, who with another man had opened a notion and novelty stand in one of the hotels there, had skipped, his partner keeping him company in his flight. They left several mementoes behind them in the shape of unreceipted bills. Mr. Seass, of this city, also mourns the departure of Murphy, who came here from St. Louis Murphy stopped at the Breitung for some time, and being sick received every attention. Mr Seass invariably gives careful attention to ailing guests, and Murphy was given all the comforts of a home during his illness, even a nurse being obtained for him. After he got well the ungrateful cur left without paying his board, or even saying "I thank you."
