Local Express Changes.
Last evening George H. Goodwin left for Ontonagon to go into the fish business with his father, Jesse Goodwin, the veteran Marquette fisherman who has just established himself there. For six or seven years George has been with the American Express company, first in the Marquette office and then as route agent. By his resignation of his "run" between Mackinaw City, and Houghton, Charlie Willesen is promoted from the Duluth run while Ed. Hogan of the Marquette office, gets a run, going onto the Duluth division. Ontonagon people will find in George Goodwin a steady, reliable young man, possessed of good business ability, and a friend-winner wherever he goes. The MINING JOURNAL wishes the new combination of Goodwin & Goodwin all possible success, but would be sorry to lose either permanently from Marquette.
