The Sunday Excursion
The DSS&A ran an excursion last Sunday from Marquette to Au Train and intermediate points, which was patronized to the extent of a [*] nine coach loads. Some of the excursionists stopped off at Onota and Rock River, but most of them spent the day here. They were accompanied by the Queen City Cornet band, which discoursed good music and added materially to the day. The day was spent in games and romping through the woods, and although it was cool and damp, the crowd seemed to enjoy themselves and left for home at 5 o'clock, apparently pleased with their visit.
